Response to Questions about the Meaning of Genesis 1:29 and 9:3, and the Significance of Eating Fruits/Herbs with Seeds

Response to Questions about the meaning of Genesis 1:29 and 9:3 and significance of eating fruits with seeds.
Shalom!
Thank you for your questions. Let’s look at Genesis 1:29 first: “G-d said,” See I give you every seed-bearing plant that is upon all the earth, and every tree that has seed-bearing fruit; they shall be yours for food.” Jewish Study Bible (1999), p. 14.
In the Complete Jewish Bible (p. 2, 1998) we read the translation as “Then G-d said “Here! Throughout the whole earth I am giving you as food every seed-bearing plant and every tree with seed-bearing fruit.” ‘
In the Septuagint, originally published in 1851 the verse is translated as “And G-d said, Behold. I have given to you every seed-bearing herb sowing seed which is upon all the earth, and every tree which has in itself the fruit of seed that is sewn, to you It shall be for food.”
The Geneva Bible (1560) translates the verse as “And G-d said, Behold, I have given unto you every herb bearing seed which is upon the earth, and every tree, wherein is the fruit of a tree bearing seed: that shall be to you for meat.” (The spelling in the original document has been changed to current English spelling of the words).
Most commentators indicate that man and animals ate the same plant diet. At this time man was not permitted to kill animals for food. That was granted by G-d after the Flood in Genesis 9:3-4, “Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even the green herb have I given you all things.” Seedless plants, trees, fruits were not designed by G-d but were designed by man.
The quality of food given at this time was wholesome, easy to prepare, and was nutritionally complete. The herbs and fruit trees were all to be self- perpetuating, producing seeds. Let’s look at the problems with “tampering” with G-d’s natural design.
There is an interesting article by Dr. Sebi entitled “Why You Should Say No to Seedless Fruits. Dr. Sebi taught that real food is “electrical” carrying the natural life force that nourishes our bodies at the cellular level. Foods without seeds do not. Dr Sebi noted that seedless fruits are:
Not electrical: They lack the natural spark of life that comes from a complete molecular structure. Without seeds, the fruit loses its vitality because of the missing electrical spark. Without the seed, they do not carry the same frequency or life energy to properly feed and heal cells.
Incomplete in structure: Seeds carry the reproductive design of the parent plant. Without them, the fruit is deficient on a molecular and energetic level.
They are manmade: These fruits do not occur naturally seedless. They are hybrids, genetically altered and manipulated to remove seeds.
They cannot reproduce. Seeds are a blueprint of life, holding the genetic code that allows for continuation of the species. Man has essentially sterilized the fruit or herbs
Seeds are nutritional powerhouses. They often contain minerals, oils, antioxidants, and other components that support good health. When there is no seed, the fruit is nutritionally incomplete, providing less nourishment for those eating them.
Dependence on man: With seeds, we can plant our own crops, sustaining ourselves. Without seeds, we must depend on large agricultural companies and commercial growers.
Loss of Genetic Diversity: The widespread promotion of seedless varieties pushes out natural, wild, and heirloom species. This results in loss of biodiversity which can affect food security for entire populations.
Many seedless fruits are produced by forcing the plants into sterility through hybridization or by using chemical hormones such as gibberellic acid. These are unnatural interventions which change the natural reproductive plant cycle. Eating these types of manipulated foods introduce unnatural elements into our bodies.
Less flavor and quality: Seeded fruits usually have a much richer, fuller flavor because they are complete. They have not been manipulated simply to extend their shelf life in the store or make it “easier” to eat. Seedless varieties often taste watery or bland. I have certainly witnessed this experience!
They are just one more example of human disconnectedness from G-d: Beyond the science, seedless fruits symbolize a deeper disconnection. When we eat foods that are sterile, we eat something that has been cut off from the Divine cycle of life. Dr. Sebi accurately taught that what is incomplete cannot bring completeness to the body. I will add that this extends to the soul as well.
G-d knew what He was doing when He created the universe and everything in it. Nothing needed to be manipulated genetically or otherwise. Just like the narrative of the Tower of Babel, man still believes that G-d’s creation is imperfect and need’s mans intervention to “improve” it. Man’s hybridization and other manipulation of G-d’s universe, whether it be plants, animals, clothing, even His instructions for living (G-d’s Torah), will never replace the perfect versions of the originals.
In addition to using G-d’s Torah as a source for the response to these questions, Much of the information in this response was obtained from: https://theafricanbiomineralbalance.com . I am grateful to Dr Sebi for sharing his knowledge for the benefit of anyone who will take the information to heart and choose seeded produce , perfect nutrition as the Creator intended for his creation.
Shalom,
