Lighting the Chanukkah Candles with Yahshua in the Menorah

Lighting the Hanukkah Candles and how Yahshua is revealed

in the Menorah

First night is Echad

First night light the Shamash candle, then the first night candle

Yahshua came as a servant to minister. The one true G-d is Echad, give Him your attention and devotion.

Matt. 20:26; John 13:1-5; Isaiah 53; John 13:14

Second Night is Unity

Second night, light the Shamash candle then the second night candle for unity; then re-light another first nigh candle; Echad

Unity that they may be just as we are one. Bringing together the lost to know Yahshua. Each one of us has a different task; by working together in unity as one body- we work together with a single purpose of serving and glorifying G-d.

John 17:20-26

Third Night : Unity with three sides

Lught the Shamash, Unity with three sides, unity and echad candles

Elohim is Father/Creator; Redeemer; Ruach

We are called to be separate and complete; to serve Elohim with our spirit, soul, and body because we love Him.

Matthew 3:13-17; Ephesians 4:1-6

Fourth Night: Judgment

Light Shamash, Judgment, 3 sided unity, and echad

Judgment for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of Elohim

We fall short by doing the things that we should not have done and by not doing the things that we should have done. Share the light; dispel the darkness and shame the adversary.

Romans 3:21-26; James 1:17

Fifth Night: Grace/undeserved gift

Light Shamash, Grace, Judgment, 3 sided unity, unity, and echad.

For by Grace you have been saved through trust and not of yourselves.

Elohim’s gift without price; his only begotten Son suffered a horrific torment and death. Accepting this priceless gift without price provides a way to become reconciled to G-d. Share the gift; introduce others to YHVH/Yahshua

Ephesians 2:8-9

Sixth Night: El Shaddai; G-d Almighty

Light the Shamash, El-Shaddai, grace, judgment, 3 sided unity, unity, and echad

And we say: Adonai! HaShem! How glorious is your name throughout the earth!

El-Shaddai’s final creation was on the sixth day; He created man in His image and breathed into him the breath of life.

Ask HaShem for wisdom to choose wisely as you serve Him

Psalm 8:1; Genesis 2

Seventh Night: Shabbat Rest; Fourth Word or

Commandment

Light the Shamash, Sabbath Rest, grace, judgment, 3 sided unity, unity, and echad

A new beginning. If anyone is in Messiah, he is a new creation. He has been made new. He begins a new life with Messiah.

By putting an end to one thing is to start or begin something new:

  1. End sinful behaviors and begin right living G-d’s way
  2. End guilt and begin freedom
  3. Stop fear. Fear is from HaSatan. Start loving and caring for the souls of fellow man. Love comes from Elohim
  4. Dedicate yourself and say: Hineni Elohim: Here am I; use me.
  5. This paper described how Yahshua HaMashiach is the Chanukkah Menorah; all 9 candles. The Maccabees and their faithful followers provided the freedom to light the Chanukkia and its nine candles. Baruch HaShem for the Light of the world and this special time to commemorate and learn about Him.

Eighth Night: New Beginning

If anyone is in Messiah, he is a new creation; he has been made new; he begins a new life with Messiah.

By putting an end to one thing is to start or begin something new:

a) end sinful lifestyle (Egypt) and begin right living (progressive salvation)

b) end guilt; begin freedom to live G-d’s Torah

c) stop fear; fear is of Satan; start loving; love comes from Elohim

d) dedicate yourself and say: “Hineni Elohim-use me. Behold, here am I Elohim; use me.”

We have just illustrated Yahshua the Messiah in the Chanukkah Menorah- all nine candles. The Maccabees and their faithful followers provided freedom to light the Chanukkah menorah and continue the teaching of the miracle throughout the ages. First, the miracle of the one crucible of oil lasting eight days. Second, the conception of Yahshua the Messiah as the Light of the world during this time.
