How Yahshua is Revealed in the Lighting of the Chanukkah Candles
First night is Echad
First night light the Shamash candle, then the first- night candle
Yahshua came as a servant to minister. The one true G-d is Echad, give Him your attention and devotion.
Matt. 20:26; John 13:1-5; Isaiah 53; John 13:14
Second Night is Unity
Second night, light the Shamash candle then the second night candle for unity; then re-light another first night candle; Echad
Unity that they may be just as we are one. Bringing together the lost to know Yahshua. Each one of us has a different task; by working together in unity as one body- we work together with a single purpose of serving and glorifying G-d. John 17:20-26
Third Night – Unity with three sides
Light the Shamash, Unity with three sides, unity as the One Light that absorbs all the others into One bright light.
Elohim is Father/Creator; Redeemer; Ruach
We are called to be separate and complete; to serve Elohim with our spirit, soul, and body because we love Him (Deuteronomy 6:4-11; Matthew 3:13-17; Ephesians 4:1-6.
Fourth Night: Judgment
Light Shamash, Judgment, 3- sided unity; complex/compound; Echad
Judgment for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of Elohim
We fall short by doing the things that we should not have done and by not doing the things that we should have done. Share the light; dispel the darkness and shame the adversary. Romans 3:21-26; James 1:17
Fifth Night: Grace/undeserved gift
Light Shamash, Grace, Judgment, 3- sided unity (compound/complex; Echad
“For by Grace you have been saved through trust and not yourselves” according to Ephesians 2:8-9. However, we must carry the testimony of Yahshua which means accepting His sacrifice on our behalf for forgiveness of our PAST sins (Rom. 3:25; 2 Pet. 1:9) and guard the commands (obey G-d’s commands out of love described as the definition of a true believer in the Book of revelation seven times in order to receive the prize of salvation and an eternity with YHVH/Yahshua. We will be held accountable for all of our deeds/works, etc. (Rev. 2:23).
Elohim’s gift freely given; his only begotten Son suffered a horrific torment and death. Accepting this priceless gift provides the only way to become reconciled to G-d and obtain the “new nature” that enables us to resist HaSatan (John 14:6). We must live our lives as a testimony to G-d’s grace, mercy, love, and truth that others may see the power of G-d in the hearts of those who love him.
Sixth Night: El Shaddai; G-d Almighty
Light the Shamash, El-Shaddai, grace, judgment, 3-sided unity, that is a compound/complex Echad, not a trinity.
And we say: Adonai! HaShem! How glorious is your name throughout the earth!
El-Shaddai’s final creation was on the sixth day; He created man in His image and breathed into him the breath of life.
Ask HaShem for wisdom to choose wisely as you serve Him (Psalm 8:1; Genesis 2) and to search your heart for any unclean thing and to help you correct ungodly attitudes, behaviors, etc .(Psalm 139).
Seventh Night: Shabbat Rest; Fourth Word or Commandment
Light the Shamash, Sabbath Rest, grace, judgment, 3-sided unity that is complex/compound; Echad.
A new beginning. If anyone is in Messiah, he is a new creation. He has been made new. He begins a new life with Messiah.
By putting an end to one thing is to start or begin something new:
1. End sinful behaviors and begin right living G-d’s way
2. Forgive yourself as G-d forgives us and forgive others. End guilt (do not look back) and begin freedom in listening, learning, and living G-d’s Torah.
3. Do not be afraid for fear is from HaSatan. Start loving and caring for the souls of your fellow man. Love comes from Elohim
4. Dedicate yourself and say: Hineni Elohim: Here am I; use me.
Eighth Night: New Beginning
If anyone is in Messiah, he is a new creation; he has been made new; he begins a new life with Messiah.
By putting an end to one thing is to start or begin something new:
a) end sinful lifestyle (Egypt) and begin right living (progressive salvation). Seek a clean heart and ask G-d to make you aware of any unclean thoughts, behaviors, etc. and remove them.
b) Forgive yourself of your past sins as Yahshua forgives those who come to him and accept his sacrifice for our past sins (Rom. 3:25; 2 Pet. 1:9); begin freedom to live G-d’s Torah, thereby guarding the commands of G-d as described in Revelation through the seven-fold witness (see http://www.rabdavis.org for an explanation of this scripture under the “teachings’ link. Look for the “Definition of a true believer.”
c) Do not fear as it is a distraction tactic of HaSatan. “Be still and know that I am G-d” (Psalm 46:10). G-d promises us that He will never leave nor forsake us (Deut. 31:6-8).
d) Dedicate yourself and say: “Hineni Elohim-use me. Behold, here am I Elohim; use me.”
This paper described how Yahshua HaMashiach is the Chanukkah Menorah; all 9 candles. The Maccabees and their faithful followers provided the freedom to light the Chanukkiah and its nine candles. Baruch HaShem for the Light of the world and this special time to commemorate and learn about Him.
We have just illustrated Yahshua the Messiah in the Chanukkah Menorah- all nine candles. The Maccabees and their faithful followers provided freedom to light the Chanukkah menorah and continue the teaching of the miracle throughout the ages. First, the miracle; the conception of Yahshua the Messiah as the Light of the world during this time. Second, the victory of the Maccabees in their small number and with little armament against a much larger, well-armed Seleucid force. Third, the miracle of a single cruse of oil (if this is true) that lasted eight nights to light the rededicated Temple.
Baruch HaShem v’chag sameach!
