Permanent Address
We finally have a new permanent
location to meet. For any of those that aren’t aware of this the address is 1588 N. Meadowcrest Blvd., Crystal River, FL 34429.
Directions are on the Web Site: http://rabdavis.org/.
It serves our needs admirably! We thank
our G-d for providing us with this place after a long and hard search. Amein!!!
Web Site
YHVH has seen fit to bless Beth Elohim with a computer
expert, Sean W.. He has been giving me lessons on how to maintain the
site. Keep informed and check the site occasionally for improvements, new
studies, graphics, and eventually a video viewer for video studies. I also would welcome and
suggestions from you to improve it.
Judaica Store
I would like to inform everyone
that we now have a Judaica
store at the Synagogue, albeit in its infancy. It is on the second floor
and is maintained by Shammash
Bruce C.
Contact him if you need anything.
Tzizzit
Yochanan and Rivka have begun making Tzizzit. They are
available at the synagogue. See either one of them or Bruce. I like them because they have a
quick release catch. That’s
convenient if you want to visit the rest room.
TV Show DVD’s
We have been providing DVD’s for
the congregation of the TV show, “Messianic Judaism, The Rest of the Story.”
I’d like feed back from you that they were all working properly. Those who have
“Bright House” in the channel 16 WYKE can view or tape the shows directly.
Shortly, due to a request
I will be taping the Services on audio. These too will be available for a
nominal price.
Yeshiva Classes
Our Genesis and Revelation
studies are going well. Rabbi Clauss estimates he has about 3-4 more weeks
until he completes his series of Genesis. At that time I will switch the Revelation
class time from Monday’s to Wednesday’s the slot that Genesis now occupies at
7:30 P.M.
Rabbi Clauss is conducting a Mikvah class after Saturdays
Shacharit service. If you want to be Mikvahed get in touch will him
immediately. He will also officiate at the Mikvah when it is announced. We
should all attend the Mikvah to welcome into out family our new members.
Traditionally, we do it on a Sunday in the Gulf and go for a meal afterwards at
a local restaurant.
I will be delivering a prophetic
message on Fridays at the Erev service in conjunction with the
Revelation/Daniel class. I will be drawing my material from the so called
“Minor Prophets” initially. There’s more said about the end times by these
prophets than in the major prophets. You shouldn’t miss them.
Personal Trust and Accountability
I have witnessed in the past that some when the going
gets tough as it now is drop by the wayside. I want to encourage you to
persevere. Anyone can be a fair weather believer but it takes trust and faith
to bear up when economic and social conditions are bad. Please don’t disappoint
me! I like the old adage: “When the going gets tough, the tough gets going!” We
should demonstrate our Love and trust in YHVH/Yahshua by our faithfulness.
May we all glorify YHVH/Yahshua and put Him first…
Shalom,
Rabbi and Rebettzin Davis
